According to reports, the tyre of the police vehicle he was in burst, leading the driver to lose control. The vehicle struck a house and a tree after leaving the roadway. Harsh suffered grave head injuries in the accident and died during treatment in the hospital. The driver, whom local police named as Manjegowda,fortunately survived with minor injuries.

A Promising Career

Harsh Bardhan was born in Madhya Pradesh as the son of Akhilesh Singh, a Sub-Divisional Magistrate. Harsh, a brilliant and hardworking student, cleared the Civil Services Examination in the very first attempt — a rare achievement.
